You’re at a crossroads right now….

It was the Autumn Equinox on Saturday and to be honest, I know a lot of you are finding (please excuse my language!) that the ‘shit is hitting the fan!’ Lots of people that I know found Saturday itself (and the days around it) emotionally intense (including myself)!

Very often in my work and life, I see themes occurring for people.

So what is happening at the moment?

You’re at the crossroads.

You may know that you’re ready for the next chapter of your life but taking that step does indeed require an enormous leap of faith. And every time you move forward, all the stuff that’s been holding you back has to come out, it’s the law of physics! As you take a step up the ladder, the rung below that you’ve been standing on providing your security has to fall away.

You’ve heard all the quotes about feeling the fear and doing it anyway, you’ve heard that it matters to really be yourself no matter what, really embody your spirit on Earth. But sometimes it truly is a tricky business!

To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting. E.E Cummings

Because it feels a bit like we’re being squeezed at the moment and all our fears are popping out-fears that can feel VERY real, maybe about money, your health, your relationships or your future.

And you ask, What am I doing with my life?! I’m running out of time!

So many people are experiencing very real seeming scary things: money pressures, relationship conflicts, questioning what the hell you’re doing with your life?! Also, some folk are getting real clarity about certain relationships; clarity that is both extraordinarily helpful and simultaneously very painful. At at the same time, there are many new opportunities and positive changes going on-I’ve heard of so many pregnancies, good house moves, marriage proposals (I just had one of these!….I said ‘Yes’ by the way), good work opportunities-a deepening of love with people or that are being loving to yourself.

So, what do we do in this melting pot?

Firstly, remember that it isn’t just you! Your tribe (those people you feel are on the same path as you that you know and many that you don’t even know too) are going through the same thing….but then so is the world! Many of the old systems are being called into question and/or are being stretched to breaking point.

It’s tempting to try and fix all this stuff on a practical level. That’s where we naturally go as rational human beings, we look for practical solutions when the bank account is empty or a relationship feels broken…or you’re without work or sick…or whatever it is. And in some way you’re probably blaming yourself too.

But first remember that first port of call is always yourself. If you can feel and face that fear (damn that Susan Jeffers she was right!), that shame, that guilt, that anger…whatever it is and reconnect with yourself, with your heart and spirit then you’ll know what to do for now, what the next step on the ladder requires of you. And it is normally this:

To remember how brave and wonderful you are.

“The black moment is the moment when the real message of transformation is going to come. At the darkest moment comes the light.”

― Joseph Campbell

If you wait for fears to go away you will never get started. Fears diminish and go away as you begin.”  John Gray.

Then the practical details and the answers will begin to fall into place.

My job as a Fun Expert, is to help you to create a life you love, that’s joyful, fun and suits you.

Therefore, its my job to help you see through the fear and all those difficult emotions so that you can re-connect with yourself, with your joy and know what to do next. And sometimes we all need a helping hand with that….me included! The dark forest we’re standing in seems so scary and dense and we can’t see a way out but there is always a path for you….and it can include some fun!

Hi Thea, nice to see your spiritual side coming through here.

I want to thank you for this reminder. I was away in Ibiza this weekend and despite it being the Autumn Equinox on Saturday, I had a great time dancing and smiling away at all the other happy spirits out there. So for me, that was my FUN escape, from the pressures we are all feeling. The positive effects of my time on the White Island have helped me land safely back into the UK and not feel too pressured by it all. Long may FUN be the answer!
